Mikaela is a National Certified Counselor working as a therapist in the Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic at Family Services of NW PA.
Mikaela received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Edinboro University and her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Gannon University. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Associate Professional Counselor state licensure, with the goal of obtaining her Licensed Professional Counselor license.
Mikaela is trained in TF-CBT and has professional experience working with a diverse range of client's and diagnoses. Such as, children and adolescents in emotional support classrooms within the school setting and adults with various care needs. Mikaela utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
