The Center for Counseling and Wellness at Family Services of NWPA was created to meet a significant community need to access psychiatric services. Through collaboration with Safe Harbor Behavioral Health of UPMC, Psychiatric Services are available to children and adults.
The Center for Counseling and Wellness is staffed by master level therapists and licensed clinicians. The Center is also staffed by a Medical Director and a nurse.
The Psychiatric Services Program is available in Erie County.
Psychiatric Services include:
- Psychiatric evaluations
- Medication evaluations
- Medication management
Does my child qualify?
All referrals to the Center for Counseling and Wellness must first schedule an intake and assessment appointment with a therapist. If the assessment reveals a desire or need for psychiatric services, a referral will then be made.
