Thanks in part to a grant from the John M. and Gertrude E. Petersen Foundation, Family Services of NW PA now has six brand new single-use, accessible, gender-neutral, private bathrooms at the main office at 5100 Peach Street. The bathroom renovations enhance the experience of inclusion for all employees, clients, and visitors to the building.
The employee-led Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee at Family Services championed this and other endeavors leading the agency to enhanced inclusivity.
Work was completed by the architecture firm Roth Marz Partnership and contractor Bauer Specialties. Additional work was completed by Wm. T. Spaeder Company.
