POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Programs position is an administrative position and will be part of the Senior Leadership team at FSNWPA. Will also assist the Vice President of Programs in the completion of his/her duties and responsiblities as well as oversight of the Permanency program. Also is responsible for providing supervisory services and administration planning services. Responsibilities including planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the program.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manages programs assigned with respect to funding, strategy, personnel and policies of Family Services to achieve operating plan and mission.
- Communicates clear expectations of supervisor/program performance, an accurate evaluation of performance, and goals for future growth.
- Provides input and/or development of staff training programs.
- Effectively works with supervisors to achieve annual program goals and objectives.
- In the absence of supervisors, will provide coverage as needed.
- Participates in management team and administrative/strategic planning.
- Assists the Vice President of Programs in the completion of administrative duties and responsibilities.
- Reviews agency funding, strategy, personnel and policies of Family Services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Masters degree in social sciences, preferred and five to seven (5-7) years management experienice.
- Administrative background is required.
