Position: Clinical Supervisor, Project SOAR/ROAR
Reports To: Administrative Director of Programs
Pay Rate: $55,000/annually
Job Type: Full time
Location: Crawford County
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus*
*$500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days and $1,000 at 1 year

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Manager for Project SOAR/ROAR provides on site day to day management and clinical direction for the SOAR program and staff, following the school calendar. Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the program.  Responsibilites also include some direct service providing individual, group and family interventions as needed as well as direct response to crisis situations that occur during the school day.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Designs behavioral interventions in collaboration with the family, treatment team and schools.
  • Ensures staff who provide IBHS are supervised in accordance with the regulations.
  • Clinical liaison to the Penncrest School District administration, Crawford County MH staff and Carelon representatives.
  • Maintains clinical oversight of program.
  • Provides direct service as needed through individual, group, and family interventions. 
  • Responds to crisis situations as needed during the school day and after hours.
  • Completes and documents a clinical record review through the agency CQI process and documenting the outcomes of the review quarterly.
  • Ensures training for staff is being provided as required by the IBHS regulations.
  • Agrees to follow the established IBHS regulations and the approved Service and Clinical Description. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults and be licensed in the Commonwealth with LPC, LCSW or BCBA.

WORKING AT FAMILY SERVICES OF NW PA:

Project SOAR/ROAR helps children in the Penncrest School District who are experiencing emotional and/ or behavioral difficulties in the school setting. The Project ROAR/SOAR team works closely with school personnel and includes master-level mental health professionals, bachelor-level mental health workers, family school coordinators, and parent liaisons.
